Hotel Ferretti

I highly recommend this property to the solo traveler that just wants the bare minimum. Though no AC the fan was perfect, the staff was friendly and informative and got a decent work out climbing all the stairs.

Air conditioner would be necessary in summer time.

Room smelled bad and was warmer than outside. Not possible to cool down the room or air out the smell. Only spent two days in this hotel before we had to book a new hotel.

A great location!

This should not be called a hotel it is a Hostal, they should emphasize that stairs are narrow and carrying big luggage to the 3rd floor is very difficult. Bathroom is seperated from the room. Not recommended for family. It is not a Hotel.

The Hotel Ferretti is a small hotel that will remind you of Italian pensione from years ago. It's within easy walking distance of the train station, but on a quiet street with nearby restaurants and cafes. My room was small but very clean and completely sufficient for my needs. The bed was comfortable and the room had a sink, table, and wardrobe. The bathroom in the hall was small but very clean with up-to-date fittings.

During my first night, the electricity was cut off. It is dirty and looks very old. Too overpriced!

No air conditioning, so it was just hot and difficult to sleep. The ceiling fan helped, but it was still hot. I slept with a damp bath towel to help provide some coolness. We probably could have opened the window, but with no screens, we didn't want to fight mosquitos.

Do yourselves a favor and find somewhere else

Close to train station which was great. But Lots of stairs to climb with luggage. Needs new paint on walls and room floor tile loose and old.
