Hotel Ferretti

It was a good spot but it need A/C and it was impossible to communicate with host

We did get off to a rough start with the employee at check-in--she was very short and impatient. However, when we returned, she was extremely friendly and was very accommodating. The helper there was very friendly and helpful--they had even already put our bags in our rooms. The building is quite older, so there is some wear and tear--but nothing too crazy. There is not a lift. Conveniently close to the train station and attractions.

Location was great.

Las camas estaban bastante viejas y cuando se indicó en recepción nos dijeron que todos los huéspedes se quejan pero los dueños no hacen nada al respecto.

The fan makes noises all night. And two hot for turn the fan off. Will be nice if you repaint the rooms. It is not looking good.

A little fresh paint and matenance could make the experience staying there much better. The young female attendant was supurb .the walls and entrance very dreary and ghetto like.

The lady in reception was so lovely, showed us on the map everything that was close to our hotel- which was everything! We didn’t have to take any public transport because everything was so close to where this hotel is. Lots of restaurants and shops right outside. Although there is no lift, so we had to go up a LOT of stairs, the room and bathroom were very nice, the bathroom was right outside our room and was clean and spacious. Our room was a good size and had a nice window- although the bedding was horrendous. The duvet had no cover and was extremely scratchy and uncomfortable. We had to use our towels as blankets. All in all very nice stay and would just recommend better bedding.

The worst experience I have ever had, it has nothing to do with the photos, the place is horrible, they do not provide cleaning service to the rooms and it is full of bugs, it has no elevator, no breakfast as it says, the bathrooms are shared and the Super uncomfortable beds, it's not a hotel, it's a pension and it's terrible. la peor experencia que he tenido, no tiene nada que ver con las fotos, el lugar es horrible, no dan servicio de limpieza a los cuartos y esta lleno de bichos, no tiene elevador, ni desayuno como dice, los baños son compartidos y las camas super incomodas, no es hotel es una pension y es terrible.

They have to mention the super ceiling fan in the rooms. Makes a HUGE bonus as it is hot and humid in Florence. Also 1st floor room 7 is on the 3 rd floor. Cool building right in the centre of EVERYTHING. More like a hostel with private rooms. Super high ceilings. Great window Rapunzal!! All you really need to sight see and take in Florence.

The receptionist was so nice! She gave us suggestions of sites to see and a map. We were only there a night, but it was a memorable and delightful stay.
