SHIBUYA STREAM HOTEL

This place was amazing. Finally a soft bed as most in Asia are rock hard. Very classy hotel in the very best area. It was very hot out so it was great to able to go everywhere inside or shaded.

Room was modern and a good size, even with our two huge suitcases. Couldn't have asked for a better location in the heart of Shibuya. Directly connected to the station with many lines running off it, getting around Tokyo was so easy. All the main sights of Tokyo were just one straight journey with no need to change. Also one train directly to Kamakura for a day trip too. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect central location literally connected to everything, airport transfer train, metro, malls, restaurants, convenience stores etc. Handy when you don't feel like scramble crossing in Shibuya during scorching heatwaves or cold wet weather. The hotel itself is wonderful - clean, characterful atmosphere with rich and tasteful design but don't be fooled by the cool retro theme and fair room rates, this is an upscale hotel, albeit quiet and discreet. Rooms are spacious and well laid out although smart TVs would be nice for longer stays. Breakfast buffet is a really good option too. Staff was very professional and welcoming but that's par for the course in Japan.

Great location

Many people have commented on the separate shower room and how you cannot keep your towel inside the shower room. I stupidly did not realize this meant your clothes can't be in the shower room too! The shower room was out of the eye line of the bedroom, but you need to feel comfortable with the possibility that the person you're sharing the room with potentially seeing you in this state - lol. You need to put a magnet on your door in the morning to indicate if you want housecleaning -- if you don't put it up in time, you forego the cleaning. Other than these quirks, as everyone has mentioned, the location is convenient once you find it. We'd taken a taxi from Haneda, and the taxi driver and us were all craning our necks to try to find out where to go. There are a lot of restaurants right out the elevator entrance, and short walks to tons of shopping and more restaurants. Very convenient location if Shibuya is your thing.

Great place! You can pretty much see Shibuya Crossing from the hotel. The first few floors are all shops and restaurants which is convenient, and it is minutes from Shibuya Station. Some people would likely call it a bit touristy, but we liked it for the convenience. Highly recommend!

Stayed here in two rooms with a family of five and really enjoyed it. It is in the heart of Shibuya and only blocks away from Shibuya crossing. The hotel was very nice and the staff was super-friendly. And everything one needed from shopping to dining to the metro was steps away from the hotel. If you are looking to stay at a top-notch and family-friendly hotel in the heart of Shibuya, this a great hotel to do so.
