Aloft Cancun

Just a one night stay. Actually forgot my smartwatch there and they held on to it for me until I came back in april to claim it. Wonderful service and wonderful location.

The hotel is right in the center of the hotel zone, very close to the beach, many restaurants, and multiple grocery stores. The room we stayed in was very big and bright. It also had everything we needed for the 5 night stay. The hotel seems to be freshly renovated as well which makes it looks really nice. Open bar was decent. Extremely nice staff during breakfast and at the bar. Recommend if you want to be close to the parties.

Breakfast was very limited and the same every single day which during a longer stay gets extremely repetitive. The dining room was also very small and everyone was ”fighting” to get a table most days. Only one bartender at the bar so usually you had to wait a really long time to receive one, small drink. The cleaning services during the stay were not the best and very surface level. We didn’t even receive the same amount of towels after the room has been cleaned and also the shower gel was not refilled, we had to ask multiple times which made it very difficult for us. Horrible shower, it was clogging and had almost no water pressure.

Hubiese preferido tener desayuno en la oferta en vez de cócteles gratis en la azotea, que no suelo beber. Pero aparte de eso, todo genial!

I can’t express enough how informative, helpful and all around amazing Mario was, he made my stay a delight. If I needed information he was there and when I was having a rough morning due to a communication issue with my adventure tour he did he best to turn my frown upside down. Thank you again. Also the location is amazing, it was clean welcoming and a place I’d recommend
