St Marks Randwick

This is a very comfortable property. Staff are lovely and very convenient for the beach, public transport, shopping and restaurants. It’s rated as three star but really probably should be a four star I think.

Nothing all was good

Pretty place; well designed; clean; very quiet; leafy outlook; easy to park out front; off street parking only.

Location was a little further to walk to the spot (where most restaurants are) than expected.

Quite & Very convenient for my needs.

The room had a very damp smell condensation on windows due to no ventilation. Air conditioner wouldn’t work continuously.

Price, location, well appointed: all the furnishings, paintwork and wet areas look fresh and smart and the grounds landscaped very attractively. I was pleased at the small footprint of my room - king single plus bathroom - as it had all I needed and was well planned out.

Television was exceptionally slow to change channels and program guide wouldn’t appear. Recommend getting the digital tv system sorted! There’s no history of the building available on your website. Recommend that this is added.

I like closeness to work

I had to ask to change rooms due to mould on blinds but new room was great and appreciated they could accommodate request

Really beautiful hotel, really quiet area but close to lots of shops, bars and coffe shops. I'd stay again!

Parking around the hotel was a bit difficult.

The room was well presented and very clean on my arrival and made up beautifully during my stay. The staff were lovely.

The worst thing for me was the very smelly drains in the ensuite. Leaving the fan on all day did not help at all. The wood was rotting at the base of the door frame which suggests water damage also. I woke up with a headache on each day of my stay. If you are MOULD SENSITIVE like me, this property is not for you. There was a water damage repair van in the driveway which indicates other areas in the building might be the same. Also the ensuite was so small. Literally a basin with the toilet and shower directly beside. The was a single standing space in front of the basin, that's all. You cannot get dressed or ready in there. Also no powerpoint. I was given a room opposite reception and right next to the front door. I could hear every conversation as well as guests arriving late into the night. I paid for a superior queen but it was not worth the extra dollars.
