Hotel Casanova

Considering what we received for our money this hotel represented pretty good value for money. Noisey during the day but overnight quite quiet. We stayed for 3 nights. Wifi is however quite weak. As for the area, no matter where you stay within walking distance from centrale station or what price you pay you will find getting to your hotel is the same, rubbish everywhere and homeless and street vendors lining the streets. So putting this aside, we were happy with the hotel

We needed an overnight pit stop in Naples on route to Sorrento and this ticked all the boxes. We paid £38 room only with en-suite, although a tax of €5 was added on departure. The room was clean and had air conditioning. Short journey from Airport by taxi cost €18, then a 10 minute walk to Piazza Garibaldi to catch train to Sorrento. Ideal if this is what you’re looking for.

The people were very nice. Our room was facing a noisy area but it didnt bother us at all. The fan in the room helped keep it cool.

我欣賞這間酒店，也相信這個酒店在這區裡的聲望。酒台前台很快就為我們CHECKED IN。 早餐有美味的咖啡。我們在這住了3 個晚上。這一區有很多無家可歸者露宿街頭。晚上有很多人無所事事地徘徊，讓人感到不放心。這區的衛生習慣低，附近的餐廳的碟子食具上有肥皂泡。這間酒店的衛生相對起來更好，只是浴室有昆蟲。由於這裡沒有電梯，我們要搬行李行長長的樓梯。We stayed 3 nights there. Pros:1- Staffs are friendly.2- Breakfast coffee is good. 3-The location is convenient with few minutes walk from the train staton. 4. there is private bathroom in our room and bathroom in common area. Cons: 1-here is no elevator in the hotel, so you have to carry your baggages along the staircase. 2-There were flies/insects in the bathroom. 3-My mainly concern is 'safety', I would recommend to checkin/out on daytime if you could also, please walking along the main road after dark. there are many homeless people around that area.

Easy check in and we had all we needed in our room, shower was great, breakfast team were wonderful and welcoming, we were also near to all local attractions, amenities and train station. Just what we needed for our short stay in naples. The only reason i did not give 5 is because the bed was a little harder than i personally like but had previously been on an even worse bed so it was a nice realignment for my spine in a way. Would certainly recommend for budget travellers.

Friendly staff but none of the staff we came across spoke much English which made it a bit hard as we were expecting there would be after reading some of the reviews and we were hoping to get some local tips. We should learn some more Italian though, that’s our problem! Great location for the main train station. Basic room, it was clean but quite run down. Not the nicest area but we found it ok despite the not so good comments about it. Smelt a bit like smoke and there was an ash tray in our room.

It’s a great place to say if you’re in Napoli. Close walk to historical sites and five minute walk to the train station. The people there are friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back to see Gianni, Pino, Lucia and Natalie. They are the best.

Very friendly staff. Good location for transportation. Historical sites in the area. Good food and places to shop are also available. Plus free breakfast.
