We stayed in the Spencer to attend Les Miserables for our anniversary. It's in a really good location , in proximity to the point (yeah I still call it that) , you can see Landsdowne Road (ditto) across the Liffey with the Jeanie Johnson and the EPIC Irish Emigration museum right beside it. O Connell Street is walkable. The room was smallish , the king bed taking up most of it. Massive TV that I don't think I used. I wasn't a huge fan of the bathroom set up with an unlockable shower type door beside the bed. I used the pool morning and evening, it was nice and the staff were exceptionally helpful - to their credit they helped find my phone after I misplaced it. The following morning we had a nice breakfast. We were shown to a table and then told we shouldn't have sat there because the table was dirty! It didn't bother us

Super stay with surprise complimentary upgrade to enjoy performance of Les Mis at 3 arena. Very comfortable surroundings and helpful staff

Booked a one night stay in a Superior Queen Room (Bed and Breakfast) due to going to a concert in the nearby 3Arena. On walking through the doors, hotel is nice, clean and modern as was the room. Got checked in by Hamid who had guessed we were going to the gig. Very chatty and friendly. Gave us a free upgrade to a Deluxe King room which was on the 5th floor, sizable, quiet and had a view over the pedestrianised side street. Room has all the amenities you need including complimentary water and a comfortable king sized bed. Nice hotel bar with friendly staff serving good cocktails and Guinness. They even play the artist, whose gig was on in the 3arena music in the background. Breakfast next morning was busy and a fairly small room but has everything you need including black pudding and white pudding to accompany your fry. However only scrambled eggs are available - fried, poached or boiled are available on request though. On check-out it was Hamid, who again was friendly and asked about the gig and if we enjoyed it and the hotel. To summarise nice, modern hotel in a quiet part of Dublin and handy for gigs in the 3arena. Thought it was a bit pricy but would stay again if in the area. It's about 10 min walk from Connolly Station and a further 15 min from 3arena

Soulless with truly rude person at reception. I will say that the restaurant had great food and excellent warm service which made up for the reception guy who literally scowled at us for asking some questions. The music is at club level in the lobby bar so not for people searching for peace from the city.

1 Its my bad experience to go to this hotel and from my side i will never tell some 1 to come to this hotel because i have my flight at 4 and i ask the front desk manager his name Alejandro for just 1 and haf hour or to hour so check out will be at 1:30,or 2:00 and its my first time in this hotel and and a tourist he said no only for money the 1 hour and the 2 hour will be more money i told him my freinds in same city and there hotels gave them the late check out he said no its our policy and i told him i vist many country never some 1 say that for me he said i work in 4 countries hotels and all have another policy the thing i want to say u have attract the guest and. I see many people making check out and only i have 1 room the hotel is good but for us we cancel everything if the treatment like that and thank u

Very good staff from check in to check out.

What's with the speaker "music" in the bar and dining area. ? This was unnecessary and way too loud at times resulting in guests raised voices when carrying conversations.
