Grand Central Hotel Shanghai – Absolutely Fabulous Our stay at the Grand Central Hotel Shanghai was absolutely fabulous. We had booked what was considered a "small" room, and at check-in the receptionist kindly offered us an upgrade to a larger room. Since we were only staying for one night, I declined. To our surprise, when we entered our room, it felt more like a suite than a standard room. The hotel has a wonderful old-style luxury feel. The room featured a writing desk, an extremely comfortable bed, a walk-in wardrobe, and everything we could possibly need. There was also a lovely armchair, and the air conditioning was quiet and worked perfectly. The concierge team was outstanding. Jacky, Andy, and another gentleman whose name I unfortunately can't remember were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Their service really made a difference. The location is excellent as well, with many of Shanghai's attractions within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.
