One&Only Royal Mirage

We have just spent the last 11 nights at One&Only Royal Mirage – Arabian Court, and after visiting this hotel 27 times, we can confidently say it is truly back to its former glory. The service throughout our stay was absolutely impeccable. The rooms are beautiful—spacious, elegant, and even nicer and larger than those at the Palace. The resort is also becoming more family-friendly, with a pool slide and poolside games, which is a fantastic addition without losing the hotel’s refined atmosphere. Dining was a highlight, particularly at Olives Restaurant. Managers Cristina and Naveed ran everything flawlessly. Chef Mouhsin created amazing pizzas and pastas. Albin and Justin provided excellent, attentive service. And a special mention to Executive Chef Sahoo, whose incredible talent really shines through the menu. Esther has the most amazing smile that greets you . At the Rotisserie Restaurant, the Wednesday Indian Night is an absolute treat. Chef Alladin delivered outstanding dishes. Binod, the manager, ensured everything ran smoothly and professionally. The personal service across the resort was exceptional: Pradeep, and Daisy from Guest Experience truly couldn’t do enough for us. Krishna at the Palace front desk was fantastic at booking anything we needed and offering great advice on what to do. Kapil and Akhil, managers at the Arabian Court poolside, always greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed to start the day perfectly. Finally, the influence of Arabian Court Resort Manager, Mohamed Shawky is evident throughout the hotel. He has achieved the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine warmth, and it shows in every aspect of the guest experience. We are lucky to have travelled widely, and we can honestly say this hotel is truly special. We can’t wait to return again.

Here we are again, love this place, changed over the years but still a little Oasis in the ever growing skyscraper city. Superb staff throughout and a big shout out for Princess in Olives, a very friendly young lady a long way from her home country and like her colleagues, an asset to the hotel.

A disappointing stop over on the way home from the Maldives. We have stayed here twice previously, but before completion of the palm. What was an ocean view from the beach is now high-rise hotel/ apartment blocks which is not so good. Hotel itself has an Arabic theme, was clean and the bedroom ok. Although there are lifts there are lots of stairs in the hotel and in the grounds which can be a problem for guests with mobility issues. We were on a half board package but found that in most of the restaurants the majority of the items on the menu were not part of the package leaving the self service restaurant the only real option. The front desk took a 3000-dirham charge on my credit card to cover incidental expenses but did not reverse the charge until nearly a week later. The front desk manager was aware of our dissatisfaction and tried very hard to correct matters within the terms of our booking.

We’ve just arrived home from a wonderful trip at the One and Only Mirage- Arabian Court. The property and rooms were undeniably immaculate, but the hotel’s greatest asset are the staff. They are genuine and personable without being overbearing. My son has a gluten and dairy intolerance and staff went out of their way to ensure he had multiple options to enjoy through our trip. A big thanks to the team at the Rotisserie: Zelenday, Binod, Chef Aladdin, Karajah, Ahmed and Aneesa- you all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. Thanks also to the brilliant housekeeping team, especially Gulam. We look forward to visiting again. Mrs A.

We had a great time! First we had a small room not appropriate to add an extra bed for our child but when requested, the staff kindly found a larger room for us. We loved every aspect of the hotel, from its unique charm comparing to other large and more expensive hotels we visted there (more like factories) to the room and the food. The breakfast is great. The location is very good as well. We highly recommend it.

Syed our host was amazing nothing was too much trouble to him between booking golf , meals, helping lots of other details for us. Always so professional and with a lovely smile my sister and I thank him so much for what all that he did. Especially answering our questions on the WhatsApp group, he set up for us, quickly and efficiently.
