Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Airport

La habitación amplia, limpia y comoda. La ubicación buena, cerca del aeropuerto, pero con conexion rápida a cualquier lugar (Le Jeune Road lleva directo a Coral Gables por ejemplo y al lado tiene la autopista 836)

El desayuno lo encontré malo, de baja calidad y con poca oferta.

there was no Wifi connection available in the room, I could not connect from the room only could do so in the lobby..

The building and facilities are lovely. The welcome was not. If you are a person of color, avoid being checked in by Cynthia. Despite having both my photo identification and physical payment method in hand, she insinuated very clearly her distrust of my ability to afford the accommodations or even my presence on the premises. She did not inquire of my transport thereby making it necessary to revisit the front desk to have my car registered. Despite being a long standing Bonvoy member, I was not give the welcome gift as I saw fellow patrons receive. I am appalled and disgusted and will absolutely be sharing my experience with management before the end of this stay.

Location

this was our 3rd stay and previously we've had no issues and have always talked highly about this location. Upon our last trip however in which we brought some friends along (how embarrassing) we discovered a smelly cheese plate left in the fridge before bed. We spent some time at the restaurant and bar and with an early flight out the next morning we headed back up around 11pm/12am went to put some left over food in the fridge and unfortunately could not due to the horrible smell. Too tired to go back down, I brought the cheese plate down upon checking out and explained the situation and was promptly assured (and rushed so the other customers wouldnt hear what happened) that it would be made up to us in points as we do have 2 more vacations flying out of Miami over the next 2 years. Upon getting back was issued $24 in reward points after spending $480 on room and parking. Extremely disappointed. The entire integrity of the room was compromised by the food in the fridge because how can we be assured anything else was even cleaned?? Tried to reach out to management and was told it would be escalated however it's been another week and we have heard nothing back. Extremely disappointed.
