Iberostar Selection Coral Cancún - Adults Only - All Inclusive

Everything was just perfect!

Location was beautiful and amenities were lovely.

Some issues we experienced. 1. Restaurant - booking not allowed (for all restaurants escort the Japanese restaurant where a booking was mandatory) however you could not always get in to all the other restaurants to utilise as they were full. 2. Dress code - issues depending on different staff. The dress codes did not apply equitably to all guests. We were turned away from a restaurant because of this but saw other patrons dressed similarly and were allowed in. 3. Ordered cake and celebratory style balloons for engagement of my son and his fiancée. I organised this the day we arrived and on the day of the restaurant booking I doubled checked to see if it was arranged. I was advised it was. On evening of the restaurant staff had no idea and nothing sorted. 4. Lack of availability for drinks to order (run out of stuff). 5. Check out - no one to process insufficient staffing. 6. It felt like a distinct lack of leadership within the resort. 7. We were accosted for 2 hours regarding ‘time share type partnership’ with the Iberostar. Over the course of the time frames different members of this group tried different strategies to get me to ‘join and pay a significantly large amount of money upfront and then monthly deductions in USD to be a member’. When I finally stayed I was frustrated and couldn’t afford what they were asking I was insulted by the staff member who was apparently the ‘big manager’. Terrible experience. On a positive note the majority do the staff were very friendly and wanted to assist however there was nil visible clear leadership or directional support for the same. Staff spoke wonderful English. The resort itself is beautiful. Even though it is all inclusive it is still expensive.

Our stay has had many positive aspects, but we experienced an uncomfortable situation that impacted our vacation. After check-in, we were invited to breakfast the following morning. Upon arriving, we learned that the breakfast also included a membership presentation. We agreed to listen while having breakfast. During the presentation, we explained several times that we were not interested in purchasing a membership and that we needed to return to our room because our one-year-old child was becoming tired and upset. Despite our repeated attempts to end the presentation, the discussion continued. Toward the end, after we again indicated that we were unlikely to be interested and needed to leave, a salesperson made a comment referencing our Indian background. Regardless of the intended meaning, the remark made us feel uncomfortable and singled out based on our ethnicity. As parents traveling with a young child, we would have appreciated more respect for our time and a smoother conclusion once we had clearly declined the offer. We hope management reviews how these presentations are conducted and ensures all guests feel respected and comfortable throughout their stay.

Beach facilities, all inclusive package

Disconnect between hotel and Booking.com in terms of what is being offered. Quality of food in main restaurant could improve. Theatre set up for 2026 SWC not great - bar service was poor, sound and visual quality of the projector not great.

Service lent, service pas professionnel, a la traîne la réception ne peu vous aider en aucun cas . Si vous avez un soucis . 3h d'attente pour avoir ma chambre , aucun signalement donner pour me dire que ma chambre n'était pas prête. Impossible de fermer ma chambre a $359 la nuitée. Le service qui est incapable de trouver une solution. Aucun surclassement, aucun complémentarité. 2hr d'attente pour avoir un technicien pour permettre d'ouvrir votre chambre avec mes expert et passport a l'intérieur bloqué. Un services incompétent. J'ai du demandé un remboursement qui jusqu'à present jai toujours pas reçu.

Love the iberostar hotels and this one is no exception. From the moment you step out of the ride from the airport you are welcomed back like family. The staff is kind, courteous and eager to make your stay enjoyable. Every area is impeccably clean. My son and I had an amazing view of the ocean and couldn’t have been happier. There was always something great to eat!

reporte mi aire acondicionado por 3 días y parece q lo controlan y se apaga en la noche y el calor es irresistible , fueron 4 veces y no lo solucionaron porque ninguno es un técnico especializado son personas q trabajan en mantenimiento hay muy poca motivación y empatía en el personal pudieran tener más deseos de atender servir y ayudar a los clientes con trato cortés amabilidad sonrisa note desmotivación el personal q manipula los alimentos de los clientes debería de usar guantes

Amazing views from my room! Staff was very helpful and super friendly. Veronica Chavez our server was superb!!! Very attentive!!

Great service, we spent most of our time at Las Perlas pool Bar and Veronica took really good care of us. This is my 2nd time at this resort and I’ll definitely come back. Thanks to all, please take good care of Veronica and her staff. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
