Iberostar Selection Coral Cancún - Adults Only - All Inclusive

Pool and pools bars were clean and the drinks weren't too watered down at the adult only bars. Entertainment crew was nice and the normal service workers around the adults only bar were great.

The "marketing session" is a weird time share where they want you to buy 9 years of vacations from them starting at $40,000 for the cheapest package. You can say No but everytime you do another person tries to sell you more. It was supposed to be 90 minutes but was 3 hours day 1. Regina the first girl tries to overshare about the tragedies in her life to sympathy bond. The last old guy who is someone higher up in the hotel chain just weirdly tried to insult me to get me to buy. It was a s a very strange interaction. When I didn't want to buy 40k USD package he said, "are you a Jew" which was just odd and random. When I said no im not Jewish he responded with, "oh I thought you were because jews are cheap" he also seemed to make fun. Of their own pricing of the hotel laughing at us that we paid so much to stay there... which... was the normal price they offer. When we didn't want it Regina tried speaking to my gf in Spanish on the side to convince her to get to me saying things like oh you never know how your relationship will go do you want to sign up yourself. Really weird trying to enjoy the location when this starts at 8am on your first day and makes it hard to enjoy the hotel. The food was really bad at the buffets and the service workers within the main resort dont really care about serving you but just clearing your stuff. No one had an issue getting their plates removed when they were leaving. We sat on the other side to a host stand where they had all of their cutlery and when we asked if we could get a fork (when there were not settings at the table the sat us) she responded with, "we needed to ask our waiter" as she continues to go back and forth setting up tables instead of just.... handing us a fork. The ACs in the rooms didn't work well and they say the entire hotel is on a certain temp but only our room was hot. All of the restaurants are on the family side.

The breakfast was amazing with an endless choice of food. The smell when you walk into the front reception is lovely and all the staff are so friendly, especially the staff in the Pool Bar.

We ate in the Italian restaurant on one of the nights, and it was okay, but not great.

My husband and I got married here on 04.25.2026 and had the biggest wedding yet, consisting of a little over 80 people. We had the most beautiful wedding to ever exist, although the wedding planning could have been a million times better, I learned all inclusive does not include wedding costs. Everything was an additional costs which is crazy considering the people would not have stayed on your property if it wasn’t for us. Additionally, on the wedding day several things were needing to be set up and placed and weren’t. I try not to dwell on what could have been but it is disappointing. My sister did have an allergic reaction at the Caribbean restaurant. The allergy was disclosed prior to being served. The waitress got the dishes mixed up and she ate the food she has an allergy to which was very scary. She did have a reaction and struggled the rest of the trip. I do think the rooms need to be updated, and room service should be available 24/7. Overall, a great resort. The water on property is stunning. Food was good, we found ourselves at the buffet most of the time. I could see myself going back.

My wife and I have just returned from celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary at Iberostar Selection Cancun, and honestly, this holiday meant more to us than words can fully explain. From the moment we arrived, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were warm, welcoming and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. We were given a high floor room with breathtaking views, and waking up early each morning watching the sunrise over the ocean became one of the most peaceful experiences we’ve had in years. The hotel was beautiful, spotless and relaxing, with excellent food and a lovely atmosphere throughout. Every restaurant we tried was fantastic, especially the steakhouse and hibachi experience. But more than anything, this holiday gave us something we didn’t realise we needed so badly — peace. Life had been stressful for a long time, and while we were here, we truly switched off from the outside world. Sitting quietly together listening to the waves, watching the sunsets and simply enjoying each other’s company created memories we’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone at Iberostar Selection Cancun for making our anniversary so special. We arrived exhausted mentally and left with a piece of our hearts still there. We will treasure this holiday forever.

El hotel es hermozo. El personal es muy bueno y las instalaciones tambien. Nos dieron una habitacion sin puerta del bano, tuvimos que pedir que nos cambiaran. En la segunda habitacion no andaban los enchufes. Alquilamos una suite con balcon al mar. El problema es que para conseguir agua hay que buscarla personalmente y rellenar unos contenedores de agua que ellos ofrecen. Ellos no venden agua embotellada. El room service abre apartir de las 11 am. No se puede pedir alcohol en la habitacion a ninguna hora y los platos que puedes pedir al cuarto son limitados y limitan la cantidad que puedes pedir.
