Outstanding hotel in a good location (enjoyed the morning runs in nearby Ueno Park, among other things). Staff is excellent; very responsive, kind, and helpful (and they speak English well if that is an issue for you). Great restaurant — wide variety of Japanese and Western options at breakfast; dinner was so good we went both nights of our stay (seems like a decent percentage of dinner patrons are locals). Our room was clean and big enough, with a shower that immediately warmed up. Very good value. Would happily return.
