I stayed here for 3 nights, and without a doubt, this is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. First and foremost, the reception staff are absolutely outstanding. Alex in particular is the best hotel staff member I have ever encountered — warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. I actually looked forward to stopping by the front desk every day just because of him! The rooms are incredibly charming and beautifully decorated. As a solo female traveler, I also really appreciated the security features — the auto-lock doors and windows that don’t fully open gave me such peace of mind throughout my stay. The breakfast was delicious, and the welcome sweets and drinks upon arrival were a lovely touch that made me feel truly special from the very first moment. The only minor thing I noticed was that one of the bottles used for the homemade breakfast drinks had what looked like red mold on it — possibly not fully washed. It’s a small thing, but worth mentioning for hygiene purposes. Other than that one small detail, everything was perfect. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi, especially solo female travelers. I will absolutely be back the next time I visit!

We had a wonderful stay at JM Marvel Hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter. The hotel is in an excellent central location, making it convenient to explore all the major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The rooms are cozy, clean, and very comfortable. What truly made our stay special was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. The front desk team was always helpful, courteous, and attentive. A special mention goes to Lilly, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She took great care of us, assisted us whenever needed, and ensured that we had a pleasant experience throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived the service and friendliness was outstanding. All the staff were awesome and ensured we had everything we needed. The hotel was spotlessly clean and welcoming and the breakfast had all you could need.

Horrendous experience at this hotel, and even worse customer service and experience with the front desk. There are better options for a stay at Hanoi and the photos provided of the rooms are deceptive. Would definitely avoid.

Fantastic hotel, great service and location!

The receptionist Trang Nguyen was super helpful and provided me with many detailed information like where can I dye and cut my hair with reasonable price. It was super.

The staffs are super friendly. One of the front desk ladies speaks Mandarin, which is a huge plus for us. The room is cozy and spacious. The location is perfect, close to most of the popular restaurants. Highly recommended!

The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and competent! The rooftop bar was really good and we had a good time there! We will definitely come back to stay here when we’re in Hanoi again in the future.
