Monet Garden Hotel Amsterdam

It was clean, with comfortable beds and friendly staff

Did not really like the location, however it was very quiet

The breakfast was very good! Lots of options! I loved when we first arrived to check in there was chairs for us to sit down at the reception desk. Plus they offered us a cold beverage! Sparkling Wine or non-alcoholic options too!

From the Eurostar terminal it took us a steady 15min walk to get to the hotel, where we recieved a wonderful greeting from reception, even offering all of our party a complimentary cold drink (definitely needed in the 30C heat!) Check-in was stress free; we were given our room keys, time to settle, then invited back to the reception desk at our leisure where we were handed a city map and given a brief, but thorough overview of our location, where to go for sights/food, best routes, and possibly where we might like to avoid (especially with our young children!) Our family room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. We had complimentary toiletries, tea/coffee/water, and the room was serviced daily. The breakfast was everything you could hope for from a buffet style affair. It was fresh, well stocked, plentiful, with a large variety on offer. Amsterdam is a fairly compact, and very flat city for tourists to visit, and Monet Garden is within an easy walk of most of the main sights. There seemed to be very little noise from around the hotel's location, and should you need them, there are a couple of convenience stores located just around the corner. Monet Garden Hotel certainly made our stay in Amsterdam more enjoyable, especially the friendly and helpful staff on hand.

Wonderful greeting from reception; given space and time to get settled, then invited to come back to the desk and have our way around Amsterdam explained, where to go, where to avoid (with our children!), and the best way to travel. Room was superbly appointed, with a lovely canal view from our window, and the room was serviced daily. The buffet breakfast was plentiful, and I felt of very good quality. All the staff we encountered were very friendly , and helpful

The location is a little out of the centre, but I guess you trade that off against the subtle quiet of where it is located
