Monet Garden Hotel Amsterdam

The property was nice and clean and the staff were very friendly.

It was a very hot couple of days in Amsterdam and the room air conditioning wasn’t that great. I was also not really a fan of the location .

We were looking for a hotel that was close to the center yet quiet for our trip with the baby; it met all our expectations. The staff were friendly, and the baby crib was ready—despite our late arrival—and they assisted us immediately. The hotel is easily accessible (no stairs/steps), and the location was very convenient; we found it easy to get around with the stroller.

Clean and very comfortable

The staff was very nice and the main part of our room was clean. We also liked that the hotel was located a bit away from the busy streets of the city central.

There were a couple of things about the bathroom that were not good: 1) under the sink was not swept out well; 2) the cleaning solution used left a really unpleasant smell; 3) the door automatically stayed closed, so it could not be aired out easily.

Wow! This made it for our time in Amsterdam. Hotel was lovely! It’s very updated and Modern and we had a canal view room. The bedding and bed were very comfortable, full coffee maker and refrigerator. Nice sized and bathroom was large. Every day super clean room and the staff was amazing! They were helpful with where to go, even printed off a list of all the restaurants And had nice easy conversations every day. Umbrellas at the front and a coffee and full service bar as well. We came in on the euro rail and walked about five minutes. Main attractions are a 20 to 35 minute walk which was easy and delightful for us. Jordaan area is about 35-40 min walk but we are slower and enjoyed the cafes along the way. This was a pleasant surprise and really liked our stay here.
