Mena Hotel Riyadh

Stayed 2 nights.. was trying to find my accomodation in Riyad for the year.. though i have clearly stated and agreed upon in the checkout that i want to use the gym at 6:30 pm, morning shift insisted gym opens at 7 pm, which was not suitable due to my schedule. Rooms are old, bed/pillow quality is not 4 star.. best thing with this hotel is location.. and on top they charged me despite the accomodation was paid.. anyhow, my agent will solve it but it doesnt just worth the hassle to do it all over again..

I’ve been many times before in that hotel and for the first time I’m very unsatisfied. I got a very small room and no hot water in shower ( Riyadh is not Finland fortunately) I arrived very late night and I didn’t feel able to complain. I only had to spend spent one night if not I would. I hope it has been only a bad luck

Acceptable price for business trip but services are not good as it was. Internet is unstable, receptionist is not really friendly and Room Service asking for paying directly every times I order while restaurant and coffee shop still accept signed to the room and pay at checkout time?!

It was ok. Nothing great. Breakfast buffet and dinner menu can be definitely improved upon.

the hotel is very good its my fourth time to go there and every time they are perfect i didn't tried the breakfast but every thing is perfect the hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and they always helping me

Visited this hotel last week due to a business trip I made to Riyadh. I checked in a had initially a good impression from the reception. Good polite receptionist, saudi national and competent. But this is all what I can say positive about the hotel. I guess it's a quite old hotel at lest from the rooms. Standard rooms with normal quality. I respect that's Ramadan and put my level of expectation not too high but service is something I think most of the service people have to be teaches about. Tried to call room service and was told 3pm only. When I called again 3pm was told by reception they start 4 pm. Food is normal standard but for quality too expensive. Tried to call the laundry but they didn't work anymore, so I gave them my laundry next day and was told I cannot receive it back same day. Next day I had to call them 3 times until someone brought me my laundry back. Iron quality below -10!!! Hire someone who know how to used this tools. Room service similar Desaster ! Call them 2-3 times until someone takes the phone. The guys who brought the breakfast has nothing to do with service quality. Dinner or after iftar service was sow but ok. I could continue complaining but it's all and all not worth to stay in this hotel if you can avoid it ! I just selected it because it's close to the office but next time I am ok with traveling a little while and have a hotel with service people and not farmers ! Wish you all luck guys as I am sure I am not the only person who has this views !

Stayed at MENA, Riyadh for 5 days recently. Nice hotel at a convenient location. Very friendly and supportive staff. Restaurant is nice offering tasty food. Having more items in room service menu and breakfast buffet would make it even better. Overall it's a nice experience.

Mena Hotel located in Olaya, Riyadh (Near Holiday Inn). Four stars hotel. Staffs are very friendly and nice. Hotel is very neat & clean. Foods are yummy and tasty. Hotel is good for arranging get together functions.

A tidy hotel. Not great but adequate for the city center. Punished by its location on olaya street due to the heavy traffic. It offers a standard breakfast and tidy rooms. Minibar is limited,no snacks.... would be an improvement.
