Izmailovo Alfa Hotel

We have stayed during the World Cup , so the hotel was really packed, but the staff was friendly and helpful, mascots, TV match broadcasting was organized well and we had really good time. There are quite a good choice of restaurants, coffee shops and local business outlets. Ismailovo Kremlin was just a few minutes walk away and we had taken nice pictures there. The view from our top floor was lovely as well. Want to mention the easy accesss to metro ( 2 lines) and a short distance from the city Centre ( 5 stops only ) The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel provides the toiletries of good quality. There are a few restaurants which open 24 hours and it’s very convenient as we have arrived late and still could have a good full course dinner. The area around is safe and a lot of guests just taking a walk at the evening. The check in and check out are done quickly and you can ask for the prefered rooms or view and staff tries to satisfy you request. The hotel got easy access to the main roads and provides the parking for the guests which is great. It’s relatively short drive to sheremetievo aerport, the travel to domodedove will take 1 -1.30 hours. There is a nice park nearby and it out can go jogging there. The area is very green and well maintained . In general we had a very good stay, with a very affordable price and definitely we will be happy to come there again.

This hotel is discussing. Far from the city center. Far from the airport. Definitely over valued for what it offered. Dirty and felt like a refugee camp. Rooms smelled very badly with cigarette odor. Very bad.

Very bad Would not recommend to another guest ........

Very disappointed. The bed mattress was so old and poor in comfort. The staff is always busy to attend you as you expect. In general a regular room far from the room picture they showed in the webpage. Too expensive for no reason. High recommended use Uber Premium if you require a taxi, instead to use the taxi service that the hotel offers: the hotel calls cheap taxis that coast twice the price of an uber premium.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Location was also good, close to a supermarket, restaurants, and across the street from the Metro, which was great.

Our first room at first the door would not stay closed. We wouldcose iand then e would push the door and it would open by the force. There was some language barrier and the first reception didn’t understand. Thought it was just the key that was broken. They were able to give us another room, which worked out in the end but it was hassle in the beginning because we had to go through 4 peope to finally get it solved. Not really something you want to go through after a 16 hour with a layover thankfully, flight. I would def still stay here again though! Everyone was super nice and helpful. In the end it was all fixed.

Good place for the money.

Room overall good and clean except the carpet feels sticky. Can't expect too much for an aged hotel. Require attention on minor details, e.g. shower curtain too light and fly around, tooth paste finished but no refill, used shower gown better fold up on bed or hang up, etc.. Also 2 bottled water not replenished after first night. Fine if that's in the policy but better stick a note next to the bottles so that I would have bought some water back or keep the empty bottles for refill at the water machine in the lift lobby. Not worth to lose points on such minor things. Staff efficient but mechanical at work instead of giving a human touch.

Overall very good. Next to heaps of shops and subway station. Only problem was a car with very loud stereo parked outside at 6 am. Staff need to tackle that problem. Also, tablecloths down to the floor is a safety hazard.

The hotel had good facilities. Breakfast was more than decent. Also the room price was good, and it was good value for money. The manager offered a 10% discount on meals upon our arrival, which left a positive impression. What spoilt our stay were the following: -unfriendly, grumpy, curt treatment by almost all its reception counter staff, with a couple of notable exceptions -cardkeys that didnt work, resulting in our having to change rooms after having unpacked
