I loved this location. Walked to the botanical gardens, a local modern gym that has walk-in rates, and even a classic Aussie pub among heaps of other bistros, cafes and high-end restaurants. I could even walk over the park to get downtown for some quick shopping. I found a route that was less than a 15-minute walk to downtown Sydney shopping. Oh, did I mention the breakfast buffet with hot eggs/bacon, etc and perfect self-serve coffee machine...? The gentleman who runs the place knows customer service. I always felt attended to

Don't be deterred by the bright blue neon if you arrive at night. I have to say my first impression was.. oh, no what have I booked here! I get it that it does make it easier to find at night, as it is down a narrow, quiet side street(another plus), but it is a little intimidating as you arrive.

Great value, clean with excellent facilities. The location is an easy walk in to the city centre & close by to local restaurants & pubs. The staff were lovely & cheerful Would stay again.

Hotelroom was okay for a cityhotel. Coffee tea and cookies provided daily. The daily cleaning was sufficient.

Breakfast was a terror - not a single healthy item available on the buffet. Second day we didnt even bother to go there eventhough it was complimentary. Everything in this hotel is old and needs maintenance, lift, carpet, bathroom tiles.... Worst part is that we had a tall car. Upon checkin we asked if the car would fit in the garage. Lady at reception reassured it would fit. We booked the parking, only to find out that the car did indeed not fit. No possibly of a refund for the parking fee. Very bitter
