Die Lage inmitten der Fußgängerzone bzw. der historischen Altstadt war super. Hadrianstor und Hafen fußläufig zu erreichen. Viele kleine Geschäfte und Restaurants aller Preisklassen und Qualität. Das Frühstück konnte man im historischen Innenhof des Hotels rund um den Pool einnehmen. Frühstück sehr reichhaltiges Buffet mit Eiern auf Wusch. Gutes W-LAN und gute Klimaanlage. Kleiner Fernseher mit wenig deutschen Sendern, aber man ist ja nicht dort, um TV zu sehen... ;-) Extrem freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Das Zimmer befand sich im moderneren Nachbarhaus. Der Start war leider nicht sehr glücklich. Zunächst ein defekter Tresor und ein nicht vorhandener Heißwasserkocher. Eine Undichtigkeit im Bad ließ den Boden fluten. Später kam dann Wasser durch die Decke, was dann das Zimmer endgültig unter Wasser setzte. Auf alle Beschwerden wurde freundlich und zur Zufriedenheit reagiert. Wir bekamen sofort ein neues Zimmer, in dem dann auch alles funktioniert hat.

I loved the location of the hotel and staff were beyond friendly and helpful. The bathroom needs attention, the toilet and shower was leaking water. We had a big cockroach on our wall the first night and it was not pleasant. I hope the owner pays more attention to this beautiful hotel and renovate it.

Cleaner bathroom and the cleaning person change the towels every day instead of folding the used one.
