The Hotel was close to Central station

The "electronic" process of checking in was horrible. Two staff were kept busy helping our group sign in. The Mecure in Albury where we had been, had a manual check in process. The receptionists were terrific and our group of 12 was all signed in way quicker than Mecure Sydney. Our group of 12 people were all seniors and for our second stay at Mecure Sydney, we were allocated rooms with baths, no grab rails and no non-slip mat for the bottom of the bath. Mecure needs to re-think the allocation of rooms where possible.

The bathroom basin had a large crack running from one side to the other which would cause concern regarding germs and why wasn’t it reported and repaired .Also the plug in that basin wasn’t working properly which caused the water to constantly run which was a waste of water being wasted .

Breakfast and it was ok and clean

Room had electric problems. Air con didn't work but stayed on with us trying to switch it off . No lights in the room only the little lamp lights. Only solution was given extra blants until I made a firm request to change the room which took another 1/2hour to do.

Noise of plumbing from room above very loud whenever shower was in use. Loud noise of running water going through pipes.
