Mercure Hotel Muenchen am Olympiapark

Had an early check in. Pleasant staff. Quiet room, fairly spacious. Clean

I stayed twice at this hotel during my trip to Germany and Austria. The hotel was located a convenient 3 km from Nymphenburg castle and 3 km the other direction to the central area with the cathedral, central station etc... so I was able to walk to visit what I wanted. Also the area around the hotel has some nice restaurants so it was easy to get something appetizing.

We were given a room on the 4th floor but the lift only goes up to the 3rd floor so we had to carry our cases up the stairs. The sloping roof in the room made it very small and the ensuite was also small. Staff were good and the hotel was clean and reasonably well located. There was no parking available when we arrived but it only cost €6 to park on the nearby roads

Nice overnight stay in the hotel a short distance away from Munich city centre. Great service for the price, room spotless, and the breakfast was nice, but consider checking before booking whether breakfast is included in the price.

We felt very looked after the rooms were very clean and well furnished.The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. It was my son's 21st birthday during our stay and the staff provided a champagne breakfast and table decorations it was lovely. The breakfasts are very nice hot and cold buffet We would definitely stay there again good transport into the city nearby.

Great hotel. Very nice. The staff was extremely nice and helpful to us! It's not really in the city center, but it is about a 2 minute walk to the tram stop and then about a 5-10 minute ride to city center, so it wasn't bad at all! Room was big and very nice. Had an extra pillow and blanket. Bathroom was small, but nice. No restaurant, but several are nearby.

When I travel in Europe, I prefer to stay outside the city center, in a neighborhood where local people live, and this hotel was perfect. It's a 15-minute tram ride from the train station in Central Munich. The surrounding neighborhood is residential with some restaurants. In fact, the hotel staff suggested an excellent Italian restaurant nearby. My room was cool (air conditioned) and comfortable, and there was both indoor and outdoor lounge areas off the lobby. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

Budget hotel that takes the word budget to new levels - paper cups, rationed milk... That said, the room was very clean, the staff friendly and helpful & the location close to services.

Great hotel and v central for Olympic park and transport to the center of Munich.The trams ran from the bottom of the road which helped our weekend break. Hotel lovely and staff very pleasant.Only down fault we did not get any new water in the room once we had used our bottle.Maid just put top on.There was no tea bags either in the room.Plenty of coffee worth a visit the Olympic park tour with guide.Lasted over 1 hour guide brilliant as she had to speak in English and German.We were then able to stay in the park and walk round the edge to see the Olympic flame. Wasn't that visible due to scaffolding from an event. Worth going up the tower and having coffee and cake and enjoying the rotation of the tower so you can see all of Munich. Worth buying a partner card for all modes of transport.60 Euros for 4 days.which included airport travel. Worth going to to the beer keller for an evening.V busy so get there early.Food worth the wait. The bakery next to hotel,was great for pastries and coffee and people watching..
