"Serious Health Risk – Tick Bite During Stay"

Hello, I want to share an experience I had at this hotel that is absolutely unacceptable. Please read carefully, because you are not safe here. I booked a stay for July 23, 2025, and only stayed for a very short time. I entered my room around 3 AM and checked out around 7 AM. In total, I spent just four hours there. Before leaving, while using the bathroom, I noticed a dark spot on my groin and took photos. I realized it was a tick. When I checked the room, I also found a dead tick on the balcony, as shown in the photos and I also have videos available for authorities I already shared with them. Since I had to leave the hotel urgently, I couldn’t report this to the staff right away. After finishing my urgent matter, I went straight to the hospital, where I had to undergo several procedures and take antibiotics for a week. I also have an official hospital report documenting this incident. When I finally managed to reach the hotel management, they claimed nothing like this had happened. They acted as if they were only trying to reassure me—as though I wanted to stay there again. After I mentioned my hospital expenses and the potential danger to other guests, they never got back to me. They took no responsibility whatsoever. On top of that, they started sending me promotional emails, as if I had given them permission. I have reported this incident to the relevant authorities in the United States, and it is now up to them to decide. But I wanted to share my personal experience and warn anyone considering a stay at this hotel. If you are thinking of staying here and you are reading this review and seeing the photos, I strongly advise you to think twice.

Make-up/mascara on the sheet at check in, tub oily on the bottom (not cleaned)… front desk lady not at all friendly (crabby)… but the bartender was so nice… go see him
