The Oriental Jade Hotel

Un choix déterminé en priorité pour sa position centrale, son rooftop, sa piscine, son bar et une vue plongeante sur le lac Hoan Kiem. Sur ce point, aucune déception. Autant la vieille ville au nord du petit lac est un épouvantable souk a touristes, autant, a l'ouest, le quartier de la cathédrale reste encore possible. Un peu de reticence par contre pour le coté "classique" avec l'impression d'un copier-coller a l'image d'une foultitude d’hôtels du Centre d’Hanoï dans cette course stupide au "classieux". Mais finalement l'Oriental Jade ne s'en tire pas trop mal avec en particulier un mobilier du hall particulièrement original et réussi. Une mention particulière pour le personnel, toujours élégant, souriant et attentionné (un peu trop parfois!), et toujours prêt a rendre service. La chambre elle-meme, grande et confortable malgré un matelas qui, vu le standing de l’hôtel, pourrait être plus souple. Enfin, un buffet petit-dejeuner varié et de qualité!

Fatale erreur : le restaurant au sous-sol sans lumière naturel et avec une décoration au rabais! Comme s'il avait fallu ne pas sacrifier un étage pour optimiser le nombre de chambres... Mais alors pourquoi le gymnase, qui en général n’intéresse que peu de gens, au 11eme étage ? Mystere d'une programmation peu cohérente.

Oasis of calm and comfort, beautiful hotel, in a convenient area of the Old Town. Friendly and helpful staff, spoke good English. Really nice breakfast spread, good variety with western and Vietnamese options and it was delicious. The room was super comfortable, very clean and new.

The staff are excellent! Everyone is so helpful and always carry a smile. One of the light in the bathroom blew and the staff promptly arranged for it to be changed. The spa is excellent. Highly recommend guest to visit instead of the spas outside.

Sound proofing can be improved. We can hear guests walking along the corridor. The alignment for the main door frame of my connecting room (7812) is not flushed properly resulting in a gap when I close the door.

Our stay at the hotel was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel itself was spotless, well-maintained, and perfectly located in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. From the moment I booked the hotel, she went above and beyond by not only assisting with the reservation but also planning our entire Hanoi itinerary. She arranged our Ha Long Bay cruise and Ninh Binh tour, and every recommendation she made turned out to be excellent. What impressed me the most was her dedication—she stayed connected with us throughout our trip, checking in regularly and ensuring everything went smoothly. Thanks to her thoughtful planning and constant support, we didn’t face a single difficulty during our stay. If you’re planning a trip to Hanoi, I highly recommend this hotel. The outstanding hospitality and personalized service, especially from Jolene, truly set it apart.

I have been to Ha Noi several times and enjoy staying in the Old Quarter area. My friend happened to find this hotel when he traveled here this past May so I wanted to give The Oriental Jade a try. It is a beautiful boutique hotel. Comfortable lobby, restaurant, skybar, and of course, hotel room. I am very impressed by the hospitality and accommodating nature. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. The welcome drink and snack was a surprise! The location is very convenient near the lake, Grab pickup location, convenience stores, and food/dining options. I plan to return in November with a group of 11 and will be booking 6 rooms for our stay in Ha Noi.

Outstanding service. Never have I had a hotel team go out of there way to provide not one but two complimentary transfers to my next hotel and airport. Complimentary coffee + drip kit gifts were great as well. Highly recommend if you’re transferring through Hanoi and need a place to store luggage while you’re away.

An awesome boutique hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter. The staff were superb and quite helpful. The rooms spacious and well appointed. The wifi was excellent. An expansive breakfast was provided. The rooftop bar/cafe, poolside provided an excellent location to chill after a day sightseeing. My third stay in Hanoi…and I highly recommend it!
