An absolutely terrible experience! We paid for our stay in full through Booking.com before arriving at the hotel. However, at check-out, a bald male staff member insisted that no payment had been made and demanded that we pay again. We clearly explained that the reservation had already been paid through Booking.com and showed him our digital payment confirmations as proof. He refused to accept them. He even slammed his hand on the desk and stated that we had to make the payment immediately, and that if it turned out to be a duplicate charge, we would have to resolve the matter with Booking.com ourselves. Because we did not want to miss our train and felt intimidated by the staff member’s aggressive attitude, we had no choice but to pay a second time. Immediately after making the payment, we contacted Booking.com. Booking.com spoke directly with the hotel. The hotel admitted that it had made a mistake, but informed Booking.com that it would not refund the money. Fortunately, Booking.com stepped in and refunded the amount we had originally paid to them, thereby resolving the financial loss we suffered due to the hotel’s error. I am not even mentioning the other problems: it was impossible to get a coffee before 4 p.m., and outside of check-in there was not even water available for purchase. There were several other issues as well. Please do not confuse this hotel with other NH hotels in different cities. In terms of service quality and customer care, it is not even comparable. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

It was a last minute reservation, but glad we stayed. They were accommodating and very helpful.
