Marlin Hotel Stephens Green

Breakfast good. Accpet rooms small but good depends on client! Staff good. Interesting check in for seniors!. On entry lobby looks strange, not traditional reception and signage but once explored OK. Facinating number of rooms in odd Dublin space!!

A little more guest/ staff relationship.. Reception, dining welcome. A few words at each occassion helps to give personal charachter to a low staff nubered hotel. What is the relevace of Poolbeg Beach in final question!!!? Or is it a Seniors lack of knowledge!

Food OK, facilities good, effective air conditioning, Showers/bathroom all good.

Arrived to drop off bag before attending a meeting (in an hour's time). No one staffing the reception properly which caused a long queue so delayed me for the meeting and had a taxi waiting (had to pay waiting time). Bedrooms adequate and nice gesture of leaving water in the room but a fridge to keep it cool would have been good. Also positioning of light switches seemed odd ie. at the end of the bed so you had to get up to turn them off. Also no bedside lamp/switch available to lay in bed and read for example

Location was perfect

I felt it to be sterile and impersonal. I booked by mistake thinking it was another hotel in the same location that we have stayed in before. This hotel felt more like a upmarket hostel. I

ALL the staff were in every aspect of the words fantastically brilliant. Next time staying in Dublin I'll be there again for sure 🌟X10.
