The room was super clean and comfy was perfect for my one night stay

Location was ideal right next to St Peters station only few stops to the city

The staff was very lovely and the decor was cute

The cleaning wasn’t that great there was dust even on the table, the room was way too hot without an aircon and people could see to my room from the toilets.

For a budget hotel, it’s great. Very clean and good facilities (Inc access to shared kitchen), as long as you don’t mind sharing the bathroom. This is also kept very clean. Necessary ammenities all provided - including ear plugs, that was a nice and helpful touch. Although there is a pub right underneath, you don’t hear it. You can come and go as you please at any time, there’s a separate entrance with key for the hotel guests.

Just personal preference, but the room was very stuffy and on a hot day we couldn’t cool it down. The whole upstairs of the building is very hot - just the way it is for an old building. We had the window open but then you hear the train tracks (which are right next to the hotel) and street noise. All in all, if the heat doesn’t bother you, it won’t matter but we found it uncomfortable to sleep in.

Friendly, helpful staff. Perfect Newtown location. Handy train station next door. Excellent bathroom. Super clean. Comfy beds! Good pub downstairs can't be heard from upstairs.

On the main road by the station makes it very, very loud with a window open (needed on a warm day). The earth-shaking door springs. Bathroom and bedroom door springs need adjusting for a quiet close and peaceful stay.
