Sydney Park Hotel

Bed was comfortable and the room size was fine for my needs. Location is great, close to excellent food options, public transport and Sydney Park.

The shared bathroom facilities were gross - smelly and there was a bottle on the floor of the shower my whole stay, which means it wasn't cleaned. This is gross.......

Given the unusually hot (39deg) day it wasn’t the best to have the only option of having the unscreened window opened to the train line. There was a fan.

Little touches like the nuts and water and the ear plugs (had forgotten my own so saved me having to buy). Courteous staff. Good location to enmore theatre and food.

It rained heavily overnight and the windows leaked, so my only pair of socks go drenched. Bed a bit saggy but still slept.

Great old hotel with very spacious and classy rooms. This is my second stay at the Sydney Park and I will be using again. The location is great and next to a train station.

No air-conditioning. So a bit stuffy if the weather is going to be really hot.

Clean and comfortable, great staff, easy access and convenient location. Highly affordable.

Shared showers (2) and toilets (1) probably get busy in peak times, but this wasn't an issue for me on this stay.

Rooms were cosy and comfortable. Despite the pub being downstairs and right next to the train station, noise was never really an issue. Location was great for access to Newtown and the train station was right next door too. Kitchen facilities were great too.

Hot water in the showers wasn't great.
