Wind of Lara Hotel and SPA

This is definitely not a 5-star hotel. When we checked in at 9 pm, our rooms were still not ready. No bands were provided, and despite informing them that we were two adults and an infant traveling, no camper cot was in our room. The food did not meet the standards I would expect from a five-star establishment; it was terrible with a limited selection. We were only given one room key which proved challenging. The rooms were not cleaned on the first day, and we had to request additional cleaning, towels, and cups. There was no lifeguard at the indoor swimming pool, despite the hotel stating there was one; instead, the so-called lifeguard was outside on his mobile while children were swimming. WiFi was almost non-existent, not working most of the day. There were no towels available at the pool and were told to come back in an hour. Bear in mind this is not peak season. The front desk staff seemed indifferent, when I asked for help as I need towel for the family. I still have no idea where the beach is and no helpful information was provided upon our arrival. The road the hotel is on is run-down and dirty. Overall, this hotel did not live up to my expectations, and I would not return. I recommend booking elsewhere. Don't believe the pictures.

Staff where very helpful. Room was lovely. Food was delicious and always hot! Would definitely come back!! Bar staff very attentive!

Came during half term break for a relaxing family break and this hotel hit the mark. Good variety of food, entertainment and very friendly and helpful staff. Turkish night was great, the food and entertainment was spot on! Kids club is a great distraction for youngsters and you can't go wrong with the pool! I would highly recommend this hotel to families!

I booked Wind of Lara due to its 5 star status and All inclusive option . From the moment I arrived at reception I knew I’d been fooled. I the reception area was a bit worn out and the staff the same. No welcome drink and not even a nice welcome from the staff. My welcome pack a a pice a A4 paper. Then I was taken to my room which was done cheaply and looking very tired. The food was awful , tried it once then ate out every night . The area around the hotel is very run down. After 3 nights I checked out and booked into another hotel. This hotel isn’t 5 stars it’s 3 , but I’ve stayed in 3 star hotels and they’re clean with nice polite staff , that’s not hard even if the hotel is past its best . There were no extras in the room like hair dryer of a coffee making machine. The slippers were all most paper and no robe . The pool are was nice but again run down sun bed that were plastic and dirty. I hope my review will make people think twice about booking this hotel and realise they will not be having 5 star service 5 star room 5star food or 5 star anything! It’s a run down 3 star at best

Rooms are nice & clean. Dining room was always getting cleared, can't say the same for around the pool, saw someone with a trolley once in 4 days! Pool is freezing, I would of expected from an 5* hotel that one pool would be heated, 5* Greenwood Suits did. Always got a sunbed at any time. Can't comment on the entertainment as we never went. Most staff are friendly. The thing that let's this hotel down is the food, I would rate the food on average 2/3*. Raw mince & raw chicken getting served, it's not hard to cook! Food cold, doesn't matter if you are in first or mid way it was always cold. The only night we can actually say we enjoyed our meal was the Wednesday night as it was the Turkish menu. There were only on average 5 meat/fish meals offered, plus pasta, veg & chips The desserts all look lovely but the individual ones are solid, to much setting ingredients put in them & they are like cement! Pastry that contain nuts etc were very nice. If you like salad then there is a good selection. The hotel is in an ok spot, it's the 3rd time coming to Lara Beach but this has been the worst hotel out the 3. If the food was improved then I would come back but as it stands we will not return here which is a shame as it has the potential to be the 5* they claim to be. The hotel has the wow factor when you walk in, bring, spacious & modern. The reception staff need a bit more training on customer service, we were checking & the guy stopped checking us in to help some guy who came to the desk! Sorry we were there first so should of finished with us first then help the man. I request a 2nd key card for the room & they refused, I told them it was on medical grounds & they couldn't of given a damm so spent my holiday feeling very uncomfortable due to this when my husband was out at the shops. I would not recommend this hotel

The hotel was great ! Food amazing and the manager Ros give me extra beautiful room for my birthday. Matt from reception showed me around and Memo give me lovely massage and hamdi security menesjer.menesjer mustafa very nice .sabriye security women. Emre barmen. Very nice hotel

We have just left here after 10 nights, we have had a lovely stay here. Reception staff, especially Mert were amazing, always going the extra mile for us if we needed it. Staff around the hotel were chatty and helpful too, bar staff very quick! Room was good size, with lovely view of the pool from our balcony. Food was good, we managed to find something to eat most nights, snack bar by the pool is great too! Would definitely come back!

Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean, only downfall was breakfast was good, snack and lunch good but dinner was hard to get a choice of something and bit repetitive and not catered for English. But had a great holiday, and this by no means spoiled our holiday. Great location too. 1 key card was a pest if one of us wanted back to room before others and charged 10 euros when we lost it. Would visit again.

We loved the place and will definitely come back. It was clean and friendly. The food was tasy and there was a good selection. There was a very good selection of veggie options. The in-house Turkish bath was amazing! You can walk to the beach from the hotel easily. I did yoga and pilates with Shama every morning which I loved and would recommend.
