Grand Hôtel Du Palais Royal

This is one of the most pleasant hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I traveled to Paris with my 16 year old daughter for a surprise birthday trip. We arrived early after an overnight flight, so our room was not ready yet. However, the staff gave us access to the shower/gym/changing room so we could freshen up before exploring the city. The bellman happily stored our bags until our room was ready. We received an upgrade to a suite based on diamond Hilton status, and they decorated the room with balloons, a cake, and a card for my daughter. She said it made her birthday and trip to Paris and that she felt so special. Rooms are spacious and very very clean. Centrally located near Louvre and within steps of Metro line 1. Continental breakfast was expansive and gave a very French experience. Thank you SO much for a wonderful experience! We can’t wait to return on our next visit to Paris!

Very comfortable & well-appointed room, great mattress. Shower was pleasant, easy operation. Friendly & courteous staff, front desk, concierge & restaurant. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, also the selections for breakfast. Terrific location for walking to sites in central Paris.

My wife and I just spent a few nights at the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal. Our experience was nothing short of amazing. From the warm welcome that included a glass of champagne, to the helpful staff throughout the hotel, we were pampered and treated with the utmost in courtesy and helpfulness. The concierge staff helped us with restaurant reservations and transportation, the restaurant experience in the hotel was fabulous and we even had a chance to have a drink in the bar and that was very nice as well. I also got the chance to use the fitness center, steam room and jacuzzi (that also came with a glass of unexpected champagne!), and thoroughly enjoyed these amenities as well. The location of the hotel across the street from the Louvre and walking distance to Notre Dame and many attractions and restaurants is also ideal. Will definitely stay here again whenever in the Paris area.

During my hotel inspection I accidentally left my rings in one of the hotel’s public bathrooms and didn’t realise until later that day. I was incredibly relieved to learn that a staff member had found them and handed them in for safekeeping. I cannot express how grateful I was to have them returned. The honesty, kindness, and professionalism of the staff were truly exceptional. Thank you for turning a very stressful situation into such a positive experience. This is a beautiful hotel with outstanding service, and I would highly recommend it.
