The person who greeted us at check-in was very friendly and helpful. He allowed us to check-in early. There was a rooftop with good views of the surroundings and the Taj Mahal.

Very basic breakfast. Poor cleaning. What I didn't appreciate at all was that the owner lied to us and deceived us when we checked out. The only reason I don't rate it a 1 is because the employee who greeted us was very friendly and helpful! The owner told us there was a problem with the reservation and that he needed to see our booking (on our mobile phone). He asked us to sit in the waiting room because it would take a while for his PC to switch on. But in the meantime, he was using our mobile phone to publish the "exceptional" comment and a 10 rating for our stay. We realised that we weren't the only ones this happened to. Comments should reflect the reality of the people who stayed. These comments are important because they help future customers get a better idea of the type of accommodation they are about to book. We therefore contacted Booking.com so that we could change the comment that the owner had published on our behalf and put in something realistic about what we experienced.
