SIZE: room was huge, with a large sitting area STYLE: renewed but still stylish, the whole guesthouse got its character and it's kept consistent in every corner POWER WHEN YOU LEAVE: stays on BATHROOM: large and styled as well, old fashioned, but clean and functional QUIET: very much. The area is not particular quite itself, but the room was in the inner-facing part of the building and sleeping was not a problem. RESTAURANT IN WALKING DISTANCE: if you walk 15-20 minutes you get to the city center and there is plenty of choice in there.

I usually try to appreciate the most of what I got, but this time I found hard to give a round positive feedback, especially considering the price I was asked. PARKING: inner open-air (small) courtyard, closed by a rolling door. So far so good, but you are bounded by the host timings. So no exit and entering between 8-ish pm an 7:30am. BUT also no access to your vehicle during this timeframe. CHECK-IN: I had to text the host all day long, as I was coming with the ferry from UK scheduled to get to Dublin at 7:30pm, just to reassure the host and keep in sync to check-in as late as 8pm something. STAFF: nice and friendly, but looked more interested in justifying the fact that they could not really support customers all day long, that private parking has lockdown times and that anything beside the official rule is an heavy favor they reluctantly do. But, hey, price are high, because "the system" told us so. Really? My mistake, I admit. Or perhaps you should hire more personal? WIFI/VPN: works for 5g device. If you have anything older than 2020 forget it. CLEAN: almost ok, but spot hairs under the blanket. No stains spotted. LOCATION: dirty residential areas with dodgy people. Perhaps was just me, but once you walk away from that you reach soon better environments. It must be said, that whole Dublin isn't exactly free from dirty and trash. SERVICES AROUND: nothing I could spot. First fast food after 10 mins walking. VALUE FOR THE MONEY: not good at all. I don't care whether Ireland has different standards or Booking.com impose its prices or something didn't sum up in the end. That was a dodgy accommodation, I had to convince the host to wait few more minutes because of the ferry delay, then listen to his excuses before being able to relax and stick to the parking rules as everything came as an holy exception. And then had to pay like what other places offers for multiple nights stay.

Wir hatten das Hotel vor dem Heimflug gebucht. Dublins Zentrum war zu Fuß erreichbar. Parkmöglichkeit an der Straße vor dem Haus gab es begrenzt.

Angekündigtes Frühstück gab es leider nicht.

Nicholas was a great host, the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The location is pretty good, 10-15 mins walk to the centre.

Slightly high price but this is the capital on a a Metallica concert weekend.

Sehr kleines und sehr altes Zimmer. Aber sauber. Leider kein Frühstück.

Redelijk goede ligging t.o.v. centrum! Ongeveer 30 minuten lopen. Kamer achterkant gehad op begane grond. Dat was heerlijk rustig. Voorkant ligt aan drukke doorgaande weg. Prima bedden.

Beperkt ontbijt met een inschrijflijst.. en bij te weinig mensen geen ontbijt. Beetje vreemd. Hebben we niet gedaan. In de buurt gegeten. Achterkant tuintje niet onderhouden. En twee katten die kwamen bedelen zodra het raam open ging.

Sehr atmosphärische Unterkunft in einem 200 Jahre alten Haus in der Nähe von beliebten Stationen von Leopold Blooms Odyssee durch Dublin; ein freundlicher Familienbetrieb mit gutem Frühstück. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!
