Napoli Botanik Bed and Breakfast

The hosts are really friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Lots of advice, directions and reassurance. I was there on my birthday and they were sure to celebrate me. The room was a good size for the price and clean. The proper authentic Naples experience.

The neighbourhood is very authentic - it is noisy through the night and doesn't always feel very safe - although this is about the area not the BnB specifically. I had difficulty operating the key for the main door to the street and relied on people opening it for me.

Very clean and new condition of room and bathroom, slippers provided, nice toiletries, tea and kettle provided, drinks in the room fridge to buy, pretty good breakfast included (options include home-made cake for 5 Eu). Quiet and very good air conditioner. Francesco very helpful and let me check in early. Communication was a bit confusing sometimes, but was responsive. I liked the location as it was near the Botanical Gardens - a really nice refuge out of busy and noisy Naples. Gelato and cafe close by and many restaurants on Via del Fiori. A 2o minute walk to the National Archaeological Museum which was open to 11 pm one night! (Friday)

I was out of my comfort zone generally, but adjusted to the neighbourhood (the mornings were much more family-oriented eg kids going to school etc than were the evenings), how the doors opened and locked in an old building, and communicating with little Italian. I didn’t feel unsafe though I do notice behaviours that might be unwelcomed.

Thank you for making us feel at home. It is clean and you can find everything you need. You helped us with any information and reservation. Very good breakfast.

The cons would be the neighborhood, but in this way I could "taste" the real Neapolitan life. Greetings Anca, Vio and Mateo.

Francesco was very kind. He helped us with an early check-in, gave us recommendations on what to visit, and when we left, he also assisted with storing our luggage until later. The room is just the right size, clean, and has everything you need.

If you know you can’t sleep with noise, it might be a bit challenging because Naples is a city that never sleeps, and you can hear the hustle and bustle.

Location was hard to find. Lighting is room was not great- small bedside lights didn't really work. Shower was tiny!
