Located in a Sketchy area - felt unsafe at night No hot water in wash basin tap. Reported but not fixed. Poor Wash basin located in the room not the bathroom No kettle

CHIEHaven stayed here before and really liked it booked it again Firstly when I partner checked in she was meat with such a rude attitude form the staff member on check in. I had called the hotel before my partner checked in and told them I was going to be late and was it ok for her to check in as the booking was in my name and I was told this was all ok and she could check in It was not the room I had booked and payed for this hotel advertised a room with balcony and booked it but ended up with a smaller room and brought this to the attention of the staff to be meet with rude attitude and told nothing they can do This was a special occasion for us and the staff where told so But again told nothing could be done despite the room I booked was available still on booking.com And if I had to pay extra this was not an issue We both travel to Dublin a lot and stay 4 to 5 times a month in Dublin But we won’t be staying here again
It’s a stunning hotel and location is perfect

The staff when we checked in did not make us aware of the galley area where we could make hot drinks. We don’t find this area until the last evening of our stay. Also we booked upgraded rooms and on arrival at the hotel were told that they were not available even though we had paid extra. We were then told to take this up with booking.com. This is not acceptable as we booked 2 “lovely” rooms and a “wow” room and were given 3 “cozy” rooms. Even when we complained we were told to take it up with booking.com
