Afnan Cairo Airport

I think this place is only suitable for overnight layovers—it’s about a 15-minute taxi ride to the airport, but it's too far from downtown Cairo. Breakfast is included in the price; it’s very basic, but fine for a quick bite. The room is spacious, and the staff is friendly. The hotel is easy to find as there is a large sign above the entrance, and taxi drivers know the place.

We arrived at night, and the water heater in the room hadn't been turned on before our arrival, so we had to either shower in cold water or wait until morning. Also, the hotel has a confusing system of walkways between floors and elevators, though this is more of a unique feature than a flaw.

Great hotel when you have an early morning flight the next day. The airport is really a couple of minutes away by car. I was really positively surprised when I realized I even had a balcony!

The hotel is like a labyrinth and you need to take various elevators and stairs to get to the lobby and then to your room. The rooms are fine but nothing special and a bit worn down, but not an issue at all for a night or so. If you still need to see the city, the location is definitely not optimal, look for something more central.

O hotel subloca andar de um prédio. O prédio é muito velho, as instalações são precárias, o elevador nem porta tem. Café da manhã ruim.

Era perto do aeroporto, foi por isso que marcamos uma noite neste hotel.

Quarto pequeno, sem lençol de cima para nos cobrir, sem toalhas suficientes para o número de pessoas que ficaram alojadas no quarto. Chuveiro sem cortina, ficava tudo molhado.

The room was basic but spacious and clean. The hotel is about a 6 km drive from the airport (around 15–20 minutes), which makes it very convenient for a short stay, especially if you have an early morning flight. It’s located in a busy area, so getting a taxi at any time was easy. The staff were helpful and spoke good English, and they even provided a takeaway breakfast at 6 am so we could eat before leaving. It would be better if the rooms included bottled water and a kettle. Overall, it offers good value for money and is definitely recommended for a short stay.

Kettle and drinking water were not provided in the room. It would also be better if the stairs were cleaned more regularly, especially since some rooms don’t have access to the lift.
