Hotel Vondel Garden - Digital Access

The hotel was right next to Vondelpark and I enjoyed being close to nature and havjng a tree view. I was able to rent a bike from the hotel and I rode around the park. I dined at the nearby restaurants, which were two blocks away, and the staff was accommodating and friendly.

The place is fine, clean enough but nothing particularly nice or smart about the place…particularly for the price. For example cheap shower curtain that leads to water all over the bathroom floor, adequate but not good.

I liked about all, except the bathroom that is a bit too little.

De hotel voldeed niet aan onze wensen, douche en wc te klein. Kamer en de netheid ervan kon beter. Het was gehorig de deuren sloegen hard dicht. Wel een pluspunt, je was zo op de Leidseplein en de bezienswaardigheden in de buurt.

Really nice hotel, staff very nice but it took 30 minutes to check out because I had to pay 8£ for the parking. Could be much better with a pay machine or a QR code for parking and a visible box to put the room key. Everything else was really nice!!

Room was okay for 4 adult stay. Bathroom was decent size. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Watch outs: No A/C. Stairs are very steep. Try to get a room on first floor. Ours was on 2nd floor and you have to be careful going up and down. This is an old building so not a lot of room for stairs. Also, the shower is a bit slow.

We are not people who care about others. No complaints at all we will come back.

Great place to lay your head for a nice traveling stay in Amsterdam! It’s a small room but had two cozy beds and functional bathroom. Highly recommend this place if your main goal is NOT to be in the room much as it is quite small. We were hardly there and just used it to sleep. Close to public transportation and plenty of restaurants and shops.
