Malecón VG02 at Torre Montevideo

If I could give this zero stars I would. There is absolutely nothing that I liked about this place. It took us four hours of walking around the mall to locate this building. Nobody seemed to know where it was, and there were no directions given other than an address. GPS kept taking us around and around in circles throughout the mall and after four hours of walking, I ended up being in a wheelchair for the rest of my stay.

As I mentioned above, it was incredibly difficult and even trying to find the location. It looks to be like an Airbnb with only one room to offer inside a tower of other apartments. This one was so filthy. We left immediately as I refused to stay that’s how bad it was. Unfortunately,there were no other units for them to give to us. It took about four hours trying to communicate with the property management company, which we used to search the area to try and find another hotel in the vicinity of the mall. This is my fifth trip as I am a patient of Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry so I needed to be in this location. Once we got a new hotel, we had to pack everything back up get a taxi and head on over there.It took them eight days to return our money so we were stuck in Mexico for a week and a half with having nothing to live on since we had to pay for the new hotel room. It was an absolute nightmare. The pipes were rusty. The bathroom showerhead was broken. The floors weren’t mopped. They had electrical cords hanging like spaghetti out of the walls.There were stains on the bedspreads. The beds were rock hard. The couch was so worn there was no support while trying to sit on it. There were no legs to it so You were basically sitting on the ground through the cushions. We were there for about one hour and immediately got the ICK. I am still waiting for some form of compensation and I don’t even know who to call to speak to about this.
