Sir Toby's Hostel

We stayed in the pods and they were so comfortable, private and clean! The only downside is they were quite hot as there is a heatwave. But bathroom and breakfast facilities were very good!

The pod felt private and it was well equiped for a short stay. It has a mirror, somewhere where to sit, somewhere to hang your clothes or bags and has air conditioner and light intensity that you can regulate. Although there weren't many bathrooms for the amount of bedrooms, I never struggled to find one free and the shower worked really well, with hot water! Also, the room they let you use to store your luggage before check-in and after check-out allows you to use your locker (I don't like those hostels where you just let your bag among the others, I feel anyone could take my bag at any moment).

So, the location is not so good. If you use a tram, you can easily get to the city center and transport in Prague is not expensive (I paid less than 6€ for a 24h travel pass), but you are away from the center and away from the bus station and the train station. Although no employee was rude to me, the majority was not particularly nice or helpful, I had a bit of a hard time finding my room but some other guest helped me. The most important part: keep in mind that the pods don't isolate the sound at all. On my second night there, I slept super badly because people kept coming in and out of the bedroom where the pods are located and you can hear everything... the building is very old and the doors are heavy and make a lot of noise when opening and closing.
