Moon Palace Cancun - All Inclusive

Reservé para el disfrute de mis hijos pero no había accedo al parque acuático está autorizado solo para huéspedes del Grand Palace, la piscina estaba con el agua turbia y existían unos líquidos de color café en la superficie del agua y los bordes de las piscinas están sucios de color negro, muy desagradable

The sunrise building is beautiful and the restaurants look very upscale. The food was great for dinner but breakfast was terrible. The bartenders at the swim up bar were absolutely amazing I would go back only for them. Most of the staff we interacted with were nice. I like that they had a gym but get there early if you don’t want to wait for every machine.

The entire place smelt horrible. We couldn’t even open our sliding door to get some fresh air because it smelt awful. The breakfast food was terrible, had absolutely no seasoning on anything at the buffet. The pool was gross, there were green spots floating around the edge of the pool, a couple people threw up in it and it wasn’t cleaned, its been a month since I’ve left moon palace and my hair still stinks from the pool water. The rooms weren’t cleaned properly, there was trash still in the trash can when we arrived and hair products left in the shower.

The meals, breakfast had good variety. I liked the kids club, but still had to stay with my 3YO all through the day.

Lunch was a bit limited. Long queues for large families like mine. Wait time was up to 30mins for every buffet meal. Eventuall most dinner where at other restaurants. Nizuc was quieter and no queues but very limited meals. Wide expanse of the pools, umbrellas where limited. Had lots of sun burns from moving around the pool to fetch towels, getting meals, drinks, or even getting some free space for the family to camp.

The pool area is great

There was a lot of sargazo and none could swim or be at the sea which is not mentioned in the description that the sea at the moment is not to be used, we were at the “wrong” side of the hotel if you want to go to the “nice” side of the hotel I needed to pay extra 200 usd p.p which is not clearly mentioned in the booking.

Facilities great, restaurants great, pools great, location was perfect
