This is hotel is one of the best in the world,outstanding staff,rooms are big. Pyramid view rooms are spectacular.

L’emplacement est incroyable, au pied des pyramides. Permet une entrée privée et l’arrivée coté Kheops en étant quasi seuls. Un moment inoubliables. La vue sur les pyramides est exceptionnelle. Le petit déjeuner ou le dîner face à cette vue est un moment hors du temps. Les jardins et la piscine sont superbes et agréablement frais malgré la torpeur du Caire.

Le prix d’un palace pour un service et des prestations à la limite du 4 étoiles. Les chambres sont vieillotes, avec des aménagements dépassés, une salle de bain vraiment pas à la hauteur (il n’y a qu’une douche au plafond… mais vous avez un bonnet de douche pour compenser… incroyable dans un établissement soi disant de ce standing. Pas de verres dans la chambre, pas de service de chambre de soirée, décoration triste… Les services ne sont pas au niveau non plus: accueil aimable mais service minimum. On ne vous accompagne pas à votre chambre, on ne vous guide pas dans l’hôtel, la valise est amenée à l’entrée de la chambre mais pas posée sur le porte bagage. Les parties d’accueil sont froides, il n’y a pas de vrai bar, pas d’aménagement à la réception. La piscine, très belle au demeurant, a des aménagements d’un autre temps: serviettes usées voire tachées, tapis en plastique à la sortie de l’eau, échelles d’accès à l’eau en mauvais état… Pour 200 euros ça passerait, pour plus de 500 euros la nuit, tout cela n’est pas normal. Tout repose sur la vue et l’emplacement, sur une réputation aussi… mais cela ne suffit pas

Interesting old hotel with fab views of the pyramids from the garden. We enjoyed an evening meal and breakfast outside with pyramid views and live music in the evening, staff were friendly and accommodating giving us the best available seats. Bathroom maybe a bit dated but also part of the charm, room and hotel spotless and we had a good nights sleep. Quite expensive to stay but an iconic location, food and drink were very reasonably priced and service was excellent

This hotel very good and comfortable

From the moment you arrive at Mena House, you immediately feel the authenticity and timeless charm of this iconic hotel. Our experience started with Ahmed at Reception, whose warm welcome set the tone for an unforgettable stay. A special thank you to Monica, the Guest Relations Manager, who truly took care of us throughout our visit and made us feel exceptionally valued. Our first evening dinner at 139 Pavilion was outstanding. The experience began with Suzy’s welcoming smile and continued with the attentive service of Ahmed, Adham, and of course Special recognition goes to Mr. ashraf and Mr. Karim, the managers in charge, whose leadership and attention to detail were evident throughout both evenings. We also enjoyed a wonderful treatment at Saray Spa, where Abdullah provided one of the best spa experiences i had. At the pool, Mustafa and Hesham consistently surprised us with their positivity, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. Breakfast was exceptional, but the true highlight was meeting Madame Amal. Her warmth and kindness brought back childhood memories of my very first visit to this hotel many years ago. She is truly the cherry on top of an already remarkable experience. Mena House is much more than a luxury hotel with breathtaking views of the Great Pyramid of Giza. It is a place filled with people who genuinely care about creating unforgettable memories for their guests. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We look forward to returning very soon.

I bring group tours to Egypt, and this year was sad that Mena House had gotten so expensive/difficult to work with that our group couldn’t stay there, so it was a nice surprise when I returned for a personal trip that there were rooms available on points. This property is so peaceful and beautiful and the view is next level. I just stayed for 5 nights, and was very well taken care of by every staff member I interacted with. Being there on my own also afforded me the opportunity to use their private vip service for the pyramids, twice, which was also an awesome way to enter the Giza plateau. I will say that the breakfast buffet has gone down a little in quality, but their Ful and Shakshuka was amazing, and there’s nothing like dining with the pyramids. I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent care received recently, and I hope that the sales team for groups is easier to work with in the future so that I can bring my groups back again eventually for more than just dinner. I also recommend the Indian restaurant which is very tasty!
