Huge resort. Friendly staff greets you when you enter. The hotel offers multiple restaurants and activities. It also has multiple gift shops. My room was large with big windows. The bathroom was nice and updated. The bed was comfortable. I used their laundry service. It was pretty easy, just put all your clothes in the bag and list them on the form. The price was good too. They have a buffet and a top floor bar and restaurant with distant views of the Taj Mahal. The top floor restaurant, the Mughal Room, was good and convenient after being out all day. The hotel is perfect for visiting the Taj Mahal.

Clarks Shiraz, Agra is admittedly an old property, combining old world charm and courtesy with modern day efficiency, though some may find issue with the dated decor. Perhaps, some attention also needs be paid to bathroom drainage, which is a wart in an otherwise wonderful stay. The staff is polite and gracious and never gave cause to feel any shortcoming in service and care. The grounds are huge and well-maintained. The complimentary breakfast is extensive and satisfying. Special mention must be made of the bacon here and I speak as one great lover of this primarily breakfast cut. Both our dinners were had at the Mughal Room. It was the delectable Kachhi Gosht Biryani on the first and Nalli Nihari the next evening. For a diehard foodie, it was a marvellous experience. Special mention must be made of Mr.Bhoori Singh who took great care of us, making our dining experience most memorable.
