Location was decent

There is a huge building site next door. As of June 2026 it is a hole in the ground. They are working even on Sundays starting at 9am. When I booked or arrived at hotel I was not informed. They left earplugs but not much help

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was upgraded at no extra cost and it was absolutely perfect. Breakfast was brilliant and the location was within walking distance of The Rocks, Sydney Harbour Bridge, the botanical gardens and the Sydney Opera House.

Have stayed many times when it was the Radisson. First time as Paradox and it certainly was.

The staff were exceptionally rude. We were given a free ‘business upgrade’ which I assumed included the business lounge as it has on many other stays and it’s on the same floor. Our party of 4 went into the lounge and were berated in front of all the other guests by a staff member and told we were not permitted in there. I went to check at reception and the attendant laughed at me and explained it was my error as I misunderstood. I told him we’d happily pay to use the lounge if it had been explained better to us. I went back to the lounge and was confronted by a staff member who denied us service and said we had to leave. Just wow!!! To add injury to insult when we checked out the next day they tried to charge me for the lounge we’d been kicked out of and argued further with me!!! When we have such choice of hotels in the city and the economy overall is not wonderful you’d think they’d try harder. I did receive an email offering me a free upgrade next time but will NEVER stay here again and suggest you don’t either.
