Athens Tiare by Mage Hotels

This location is excellent for seeing the sites in Athens - everything is within walking distance with metro stop and HOHO bus almost at the door. Very helpful staff.

We selected the Tiare Hotel from the Trip Advisor reviews. The rating is valid. The rooms were very nice and the there was an excellent spread for breakfast. The morning view of the giant fountain was highly appreciated during breakfast. Most of the staff was proficient in English and they were very helpful. Our stay was quite pleasant. We were amazed at how close the hotel was to tourist activities. The #12 HOHO stop is less than 100 yards from the front door of the hotel. A metro stop is also at the front door. The only negative was the hot water for my morning shower was only tepid, this is probably due everybody taking their showers prior to the 6:00 breakfast starting. There was plenty of hot water available at 4:00 am and 9:00 am.

Comfortable and clean.

Very nice staff. Nice hotel. Area is just ok but only a 15 minute walk to the main tourist area. Recommended especially if you are trying to save a little money.

You cannot walk out of room balcony .. we were drinking coffee outside the hotels table and were told not to do do it again by restaurant staff

Upon arrival there looked to be blood on the sheet on one side of the bed near the feet
