I been coming to this hotel for 10+yrs and this was the worse experience. But before we get there lets have some positive points. And I probably reviewed this hotel before so check out that one, its probably lot more positive. Location - Its on Odaiba, but you knew that :) Hotel is right next to one of the malls and right next to the above ground metro line, nice easy walk to drag those bags here. Because its Odaiba you can escape the crowds of main Tokyo and walk outside and enjoy the more relaxed atmosphere. Rooms - Rooms in this hotel are just large, western style with lots of space. The plus point is the hotel had upgraded us to a suite with private hot tub outside and amazing view. Problem was we were there for less than 24hrs so couldnt really enjoy. Its always the case hotels give me a nice room when I am there for a short period. Ok so where did this all go wrong, ok to set some context I am Hilton Diamond for life and my partner is Hilton Diamond. I'm also Marriott Platinum for life as well, so I stayed in a few hotels in my time. I think the main issue is this hotel cannot cope when it is busy. After arriving from 4hr bullet train trip, trekking from Tokyo station we wanted to relax with a nice drink in the lounge and then head out for dinner. The lounge was like a zoo, full of families using it like a buffet. Its good that the hotel allows families in (i have done this many years ago) but if your (the hotel) expecting it to be busy learn like some other hotels and set "sittings" where you book in advance and come and then go after your sitting ends. We were given a few options: A) Doggy bag take out - not very classy and a beer out of a paper cup, i didnt come for summer picnic. b) Go to some overflow room and walk back and forth with stuff. Gave that a miss c) Be told when there is some room. Ok that sounds better, can you WhatsApp me like the Hilton i just came from? Oh no need a Japanese number, else stay in your room sir and we'll ring within an hour. Well i got better things to do that sit around waiting for a call but we took that offer. I went to visit this really cool Whiskey shop and my partner waited. Didnt buy anything. After 1hr and bit, no call so left. Out of courtesy told lounge we decided to pass, amazing space is available. Mmmm I wonder. After the lounge experience decided to take breakfast in main area. If you got crowds for snack in evening no hope for breakfast, probably never get any. Breakfast areas tables are spilling over into the lobby, not a good sign. After 1st incident that I will miss coffee machine I wanted to use was not working, no staff bothering about it so pointed issue out and nice gentleman said would get me a coffee, well that coffee turned up 30 mins later. Another member of staff was giving out some cool breakfast items, when I approached the staff was told "SIT DOWN". Staff eventually gave us some of these things when they got a stern look from me when those words where used. Whole breakfast experience was rushed, staff visible but not doing what they need to monitor buffet food levels and make sure things operate. Totally difference experience from my more relaxing visits over the years. When I checked out I explained the frustration and few suggestions to improve catering for crowds and asked for the duty manager to contact me (he was out when I asked to talk to him). Anyway I guess this hotel will probably be getting less of my business given i never heard a thing - typical lip service "yes sir, sorry sir". There is a Conrad the other side of the bridge that the over ground metro train goes by, got a feeling i might be visiting that.

I’m not sure where to begin. The view is nice. Food is decent at breakfast bar. Nice walking path in front. Located well. Now, far & away the worst service we’ve ever recieved - at any hotel in the 40 countries we’ve visited - mostly at Hilton properties. Room are very dated. Not clean. There’s absolutely no way to get coffee or tea in the lobby off hours. The room coffee is instant and you get two a day - period. The concierge - horrible. They knew nothing and did nothing. The hotels charges for use of the pool/ spa - at $650 a night per room (we had two) we were shocked. Talked to manager - apologized but no change or help. Ugh.

Poor service, no response on diamond perks. Probably the worst Hilton property in Tokyo! Would not recommend, poor by Hilton standards
