Grand Hyatt Hong Kong

The staff are incredibly warm and polite. A porter kindly helped us carry all our luggage with great enthusiasm, making our check-in smooth and pleasant.

This hotel is located in the perfect area. The staff is AMAZING!!! ATTENTIVE, PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, POLITE. I could go on and on. Every experience was a 20/10. I would definitely recommend and plan to stay there again our next time in Hong Kong. 💕💕💕💕

Grand Hyatt Hong Kong is a hotel that proves timeless design never goes out of style. The interiors are understated, elegant, and quietly luxurious, without trying too hard to feel modern. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality dishes. What impressed me most, though, was the service. It still delivers the warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism that defined luxury hospitality during its best years. In a market where service standards often fluctuate, Grand Hyatt continues to set the benchmark. A classic that I would happily return to.

I had a corner room on a very high floor. The view is amazing. Also the room was spacious. Coffee, tea etc are all supplied. The cleanliness of the room is impeccable.

The list of issues is unfortunately quite long: * The hotel is showing its age, and this is reflected in the room equipment. There are buttons everywhere, for the blinds, various lights, and other functions. It is often unclear which button controls what, and the labels are difficult to read. * Breakfast can be taken either in the lobby restaurant or in the Grand Club on the 31st floor. The lobby breakfast area is quite small. Although the selection is excellent, I had to queue for quite some time. Upon admission, I was seated shoulder-to-shoulder with other guests at the bar, which was not particularly comfortable. * The breakfast offering in the Grand Club is more limited. Initially, I did not realize that some of the fruit was stored in the refrigerators. Speaking of the refrigerators, they are positioned behind a service table. Although guests are apparently expected to help themselves to drinks, their location made me assume that staff assistance was required. When I asked for an orange juice, nobody mentioned that I could simply access the refrigerators myself. Instead, the cook looked at me as though I had arrived from another planet (perhaps I have). * Overall, the service did not meet the standard I would expect at this price point. Staff often seemed to have difficulty understanding my English (my pronunciation may not be perfect). Given the room rates charged by the hotel, I expected a significantly higher level of service. * Last, I like to travel by public transportation. Here, one has to walk to the Wan Chai MTR station. The way there requires a particularly ugly staircase to get out into some big drive-through. So the hotel is not located in a particularly pedestrian friendly manner.

My recent stay at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong was truly exceptional, thanks to the outstanding hospitality and service from the entire team. The Grand Club Lounge was a standout — elegant, comfortable, and with consistently high-quality food throughout the day. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy excellent dining options. Special thanks to Winnie Lee, the manager, who personally prepared our rooms and ensured everything was perfect. I’m also incredibly grateful to Mandy, Ponny, and Hollis for their warm welcomes, friendly greetings, and genuine care — they made us feel truly valued from the moment we arrived. The level of attention and warmth from the staff elevated our entire experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking refined hospitality in Hong Kong. I’ll definitely be back!

I am incredibly grateful to the Grand Club team for their utmost professionalism. Even during peak hours when the lounge was exceptionally busy, the front-line staff worked tirelessly to ensure every guest felt comfortable. Special praise goes to Karly and the team for their dedication and grace under pressure. It might be beneficial for the management to look into adjusting the club's capacity in the future, simply to create a more relaxing environment for guests and supported conditions for the hardworking staff. Additionally, our sincere thanks to the Housekeeping and In-Room Dining teams for their meticulous care. We were especially touched by Yan, who incredibly remembered my dining preferences. It is this rare and thoughtful level of attentiveness that made our stay truly memorable!

OVERALL STAY WAS EXCELLENT. AND GIVING A BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR MY WIFE WAS SUCH A NICE TOUCH!
