Hyatt Regency Vienna

Staying at Hyatt Regency (formerly Andaz) is always a disappointing experience. The rooms are modern, nicely decorated and of a decent size. However, the staff hugely lacks training, attentiveness, customer focus. On the F&B side, breakfast is always disappointing: my scrambled eggs usually take 20min (when I don’t need to remind them it was scrambled, not fried…) waiters wander around the room with drinks asking every table if they ordered them because they have no clue who ordered, dirty plates are left pulling up on the tables because no one clears them, the room is left unattended for long periods of time, my drink order comes back wrong often too. The front desk are kind, but unable to perform their job with competence. Housekeeping are simply a disaster: they’ve left the door of my room open for a whole day, they never come in the morning although that was my specific ask at checkin (which they said they can accommodate) and the leave fruit in my room which then stays for days until it literally rots. What is most disappointing too is that I’ve given all of this feedback to management and they refuse to make any improvements whatsoever. The Hyatt standards of hospitality have simply dropped so much that they’re no longer a serious player in their target market.

Ein tolles Hotel mit ausgezeichnetem Service. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, modern und hervorragend ausgestattet. Besonders schön ist der Ausblick auf das Belvedere, den man sowohl vom Zimmer als auch von der tollen Dachterrasse genießen kann. Die Rooftop-Terrasse lädt zum Entspannen ein und rundet den Aufenthalt perfekt ab.

Der Service an der Bar im Lobbybereich: eher abweisend und desinteressiert
