Great staff, great location, very clean

Hotel was lovely, roof and ground level dining excellent. View was amazing. The only problem was the 5Mbps WiFi in the room. Slower than dial up AOL!

This recently renovated hotel is a standout choice for those seeking a cozy, family-owned property with a touch of luxury in Athens. Its prime location, within walking distance of the city center and boasting stunning views of the Acropolis, makes it one of the most luxurious yet intimate options in the area. The ambiance exudes elegance, and you can truly feel the upscale vibe throughout the property. The rooms are beautifully designed, comfortable, and impeccably maintained, reflecting the recent renovations. The breakfast is a highlight—delicious, varied, and a perfect start to the day. The family-run hospitality adds a warm, personal touch that elevates the experience. My only minor complaint is that the bathroom, while modern and well-equipped, isn’t ideal for long, leisurely showers, which my teenage daughter loves. This was a small hiccup in an otherwise fantastic stay. For anyone looking for a luxurious, centrally located hotel with Acropolis views, I highly recommend this place!

This is a very cool and artsy hotel right by the busy center of town. I loved that the Acropolis was right behind it and that you could hang out on the roof to have a great view while relaxing. The hotel itself was very nice and the lobby was very relaxing. We ended up in a suite off site due to the fact that we wanted a King Bed but really didn't know that. We wish the site would have been clear about that. The offsite suite was nice and very artsy and had a lot of amenities but did feel a little like a dungeon because the lighting wasn't great and it was a basement apartment. The staff was nice and they brought us boxed breakfast in the morning because our flight was so early. I would stay here again but double check what kind of room I have beforehand.

We were delighted with our stay at the Herodion. The view of the Acropolis from the roof-top bar was just icing on the cake. The location is fantastic if you want to spend time in the Acropolis Museum and the area around the Acropolis and the Promenade. I highly recommend.
