Shangri-La Bangkok

とにかく交通の便がいい。BTSの駅と船乗り場がすぐなのでどこに行くにも便利だった。

仕方がないですが、施設の古さが想像以上でした。

We recently visited our son who lives in Thailand. He prepared our tour and hotels. Shangri-La Bangkok was our last stop . We spent 3 nights here on arrival 1st impression WOW . This property is impressive ! Everything you would expect in a major city 5* hotel . Pool - lovely resort style with attentive servers quiet relaxing just what we needed before our long flight back to Canada. We did not dine here so cannot comment we used it as our base to venture out and about in Bangkok. Staff well trained & professional . Shopping Mall- a Thai replicated cute boat has a schedule to drop you off and pick you up. Mall is mostly high end if that is what you are looking for all designer stores there for you to peruse. Starbucks here as well .Lovely local Thai crafts and kotchkies can be found here as well. Room- spacious clean , small balcony to watch the boats come and go. Cleaning done daily on time and spotless . We arranged a driver through the concierge as my son was heading back to his home. We needed a large SUV for our 4 suitcases ;) On arrival to the airport we were greeted by a wonderful member/staff concierge. She introduced herself and not a care to be had checking in . We are frequent travelers and have never had this perk before , What a wonderful idea ! Thank you Shangri-La Bangkok We will be back on our next visit !!!

Lovely hotel. Really liked my river view room on the top floor. Very relaxing hotel and nicely decorated. Nice breakfast buffet nor as big as the other properties I stayed out. Nice pool area 2 pools and gym. Enjoyed the Horizon floor. Fast internet, comfortable bed. Just wish they had a charger by the bed. Great water pressure. No complaints! Passion fruit sorbet for breakfast to die for!!!! Would recommend and return!

we had room 1151 in the krungthep wing , had 2 balconys, one bigger than the other roommwas way better than we thought it would be , great for watching the boats go up and down the river, we were right next to motor way but the noise didnt really bother us , and was only a 2 mim walk to train station , , heaps of different food at breakfast was very nice, 2 great pools but as i just had a tattoo i wasnt able to use them , the one in the krungthep wing only had 2 to 3 people in it at any one time , its like its your own priv pool , when we go back to bangkok this will be our go too

Pool area is very green right on the river. Large gym / Breakfast offered alot.

There could have been more boat access - compared to other hotels on the river the boat taxi offers were limited
